ROCK ON IN TUNE: Mackenzie Kristjon of Dundas is one of many performers who will hit the outdoor stage at next weekend's Manifest Electronic Summer Music Festival.
Held on a 65-acre horse farm near African Lion Safari, the weekend event at the corner of Safari and Kirkwall roads will run from Saturday, July 19 beginning at noon to Sunday, July 20 until 6 p.m.
Tickets are $30 in advance for the all-ages event, which includes camping, bonfire and parking in the price.
Kristjon is a singer-songwriter who has been performing music across Canada, in the US, and in Europe for the past decade. He has released two records Karma Repair: Sweetness Machines, and Deathstyle: Celebration.
He sings, dances, and plays guitar, piano, trumpet and vibraphones.
Also featured at Manifest are 15 disc jockeys including Ray Vincent of Ekoplex, Kevin Deforest of Crystalline Entity and Steve Chan of Nexus7. The weekend festival also includes live electronic acts and independent rock bands such as Tin, Green Go and Rouge.
