COOL TREATS YUM: Joan Coultard, left, Judy Jones and Matthew Winninger fight for a lick at Westfield Heritage Village.
The two-day event will feature fun for the whole family with live music, horse and wagon rides, magic shows, face painting, period crafts and games as well as wine sampling from Puddicombe Estate Farm and Winery.
Visitors will also learn a thing or two as they walk through the village. Westfield's pioneers will be busy churning tasty treats as they recreate the excitement and fun of the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair.
The Fourth Annual Ice Cream Festival will also feature the launch of the Hamilton Conservation Authority's 50th Anniversary Ice Cream flavour, the Spencer Creak Skipping Stone ice cream, a double-churned vanilla ice cream with fresh blueberries and chocolate rock candies.
The fun takes place on Sunday, August 3 and Monday, August 4 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is $9.50 for adults, $5.50 for youths 6 to 12 and $8.50 for seniors. Children five and under can join in on the fun for free. Annual membership pass holders receive free admission for the passengers in their car.
Westfield Heritage Village is located at 1049 Kirkwall Road in Rockton. For further information, call 519-621-8851.
