
Vocal auditions are slated to take place Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22 from 6 to 9 p.m., while movement auditions take place Saturday, August 23 (scheduled during vocal auditions).
The callback date will be Saturday, August 23 (afternoon and evening).
Jekyll and Hyde, The Musical was conceived for the stage by Steve Cuden and Frank Wildhorn. Wildhorn also composed the music, while Leslie Bricusse wrote the book and lyrics.
The HTI production will be directed by Matthew Moore and co-produced by Jared Lenover and Wes Fletcher. Actors will be required for five principal roles (three males, two females) as well as nine additional roles. There will also be up to 10 additional ensemble roles.
HTI is also looking for people to help with tech and production. Those interested should contact the show's producers at 905-975-5294 or producers@hamiltontheatre.com, or attend one of the audition dates listed. Volunteers will be required for box office, program design, promotions, props, rehearsal pianist, script assistant duties, and more.

Each person auditioning for the cast needs to attend a vocal audition and a dance/movement audition.
Vocal auditions for Jekyll and Hyde will be held at HTI's Studio Theatre at 140 MacNab Street N., Hamilton. Each performer must come prepared to perform two songs: one up-tempo and one ballad, with piano accompaniment. (An accompanist will be provided by HTI for those who don't have one.) Please bring sheet music if you plan on singing with our accompanist. Do not come prepared to sing anything Disney or any songs from Jekyll and Hyde.)
Dance/movement auditions will take place at the studio on Saturday, August 23 from 10 a.m.-noon or from 1-3 p.m. Comfortable clothing is appropriate. No dance experience required.
All auditioners should be available for callbacks Saturday afternoon and early evening in case they are called.
Jekyll & Hyde, The Musical will be performed November 7, 8, 14 and 15 at 8 p.m. and November 9 and 16 at 2 p.m. All performances will take place at the Downtown Arts Centre located at 28 Rebecca Street in Hamilton.
