Suitable for the whole family, the fun runs from 6:30-9:30 p. m. on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25. Tickets are available at the gate starting at 6 p. m.
The main theme for the evening will be fairy tales, pirates and gangsters. Costumed interpreters will be on hand to bring All Hallow’s Eve history and folklore to life with live demonstrations and entertaining presentations among Westfield’s 35 historical buildings.
The evening’s spooky scenarios include a haunted train station, the walk of doom, a speakeasy, kids’ crafts, a live radio play, a haunted house, the P. T. Barnum museum of curiosities, two penny theatre presentations and more. The Kinsmen of Burlington will provide free hot, buttered popcorn and the Ancaster Lions Club will have chocolate coins for the kids.
The gift shop will be open and light fare will be available at the Ironwood tearoom.
Admission for the program is $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors and $5.50 for children 6-12 years of age. Kids five years old and under get in free, and there is plenty of free parking.
