OFF AND RUNNING LUCKY DUCKS: Jane McCoy (centre) and children Jamie and Mary show off the winning ticket and the first place duck from last Saturday's Duck Dash. The Waterdown family won airfare for two on Air Canada for purchasing the winning ticket. This year, 500 chances were added, to make the total number of tickets sold 2,500, in honour of the Optimist club's 50th anniversary. In total, the event raised $12,500 for community initiatives.
