KICKING IN: The U16 boys Flamborough Connon Nurseries NVK beat Glanbrook in West Wentworth Interlock Soccer League Cup finals 3-0, on September 6. Flamborough played a solid game defensively and dominated offensively with goal scorers Matthew Wild (two) and Ryan Scharringa. Goalkeeper Mark Vandemuelan was awesome with incredible saves all game. The U16 roster included: (front row, left to right) Micheal Deady, Adam DeMedeiros, Mark Vandermuelen, Matthew Ross, Matthew Koning and Alex Szozda, (second row, left to right) assistant coach Adriana Deady, Arick Henry, Christopher Lange, Eric Heidbuurt, Ryan Scharringa, Matthew Wild, Josh Arsenault, Pal Groen, Tyler Brizland, Jacob Kemper, Ian Flynn, Kevin Vos, and coach Terry DeMedeiros.
