On the one-year anniversary of her operation, her mom, Kimberly Macdonald Brown, is hoping to give back to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. The local mom is hosting a silent auction and fundraiser, A Gift from the Heart, to support the hospital’s heart transplant team.
