Grace Anglican reverends share ministry with Oakville church

The Celebration of New Ministry and Induction Service was held at Grace Anglican Church on Mill Street North on the evening of Wednesday, December 14.

The service was led by the Bishop of the Diocese of Niagara, the Right Reverend Michael Bird.

The service introduced the two new priests (co-rectors) to the congregation at Grace and the Waterdown community in an official capacity.

The Reverends Ward have been serving the parish since September 2011. They are sharing the ministry together at Grace as well as sharing the ministry at St. Luke, Palermo (Oakville).

Team

This team ministry is new to both church congregations and offers an exciting new opportunity for the congregations along the Dundas Street corridor to share gifts and resources in one of the most rapidly expanding areas of the GTA.

The service highlighted the sharing of symbols of ministry, leaders from both congregations, and the choirs of both congregations jointly leading the singing.
