Thank you, Flamborough

The 2012 Christmas Connection was another success this year. In fact, it is the most successful since the Review and Flamborough Information and Community Services first teamed up six years ago to help make the holiday season extra special for Flamborough seniors of limited means.

This year, 36 seniors will receive a personalized gift this Christmas thanks to the community’s generous donations of puzzle books, clothing, gift cards and holiday treats. Amica in Dundas also made a significant contribution, donating numerous gift baskets.

“We have been blessed by many generous people here in Flamborough, who have both taken the time to buy special gifts or have donated money to help make Christmas just a little better for some of our seniors,” said Shelley Scott, executive director of Flamborough Information and Community Services. “Thank you, on behalf of the recipients, the Flamborough Review and Flamborough Information and Community Services, for such a wonderful Christmas outreach.”
