Westfield Heritage Village hosted its annual ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas event on Dec. 8, where community residents could get into the Christmas spirit.
Numerous activities were on offer at the Rockton facility, including musical performances by The Rosewood Consort, directed by Bob Rivers, The Gallery String Quartet and violin and cello duo, Nancy Jones and Viola Duff.
Visitors to the village could explore more than 35 historical buildings, decorated in their holiday best, meet costumed interpreters, listen to music and meet jolly Father Christmas.
Young guests at Westfield Heritage Village could take part in crafts in the log schoolhouse and visit with furry and feathered friends in the barn.
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas runs again this Saturday, Dec. 15 from 5 until 9 p.m.
Admission is $11 for adults, $10 for seniors and persons with disabilities and $6.50 for children ages six to 12. Children five and under can enjoy the event for free.
More information about the event, as well as Sunday’s Christmas in the Country, is available online.
Westfield Heritage Village is located at 1049 Kirkwall Rd.
