Carlisle home stager's business wins big

Flamborough Review

The Staging House, a professional home staging company co-founded by Carlisle’s Lynda O’Hagan and Michelle Cassady, has won the North American-wide RESA Staging Team of the Year Award.

The winner was announced at the annual industry awards held Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in San Francisco.

“We were so excited. We were up against some really tough competition,” said O’Hagan, who launched the Burlington business in 2005 with Cassady. “We never thought in a million years we’d win. The stars are all aligning.”

RESA is the international trade association for professional home stagers.

Entering its seventh year of operation, The Staging House has grown exponentially with its owners now working with upwards of 20 realtors throughout Halton and Hamilton.

Next on the agenda for the two busy entrepreneurs is a television project for HGTV with Canadian contractor and television personality Mike Holmes.
