Poll results will be delayed: Liberal riding head McMaster students register

Joseph Gordon, head of the ADFW Liberal riding association, said he expects the local results to be delayed, due to issues at the McMaster University campus, reports Dianne Cornish.

In 2006, students lined up for hours to register to vote, he explained. For the 2008 election, political parties offered to send enumerators to university campuses, but the idea was nixed for safety reasons, explained Gordon.
