Sweet campaign announces victory Conservatives ahead by a margin of 2 to 1

Mike Pearson reports that Dan Muys, campaign manager for David Sweet, has announced that Conservative incumbent has a 2 to 1 lead over Liberal challenger Arlene MacFarlane-Vanderbeek - enough to predict a blue victory in ADFW.

Muys also announced that Sweet had reportedly won several polls in the Westdale area, which is not traditionally a Conservative stronghold.

According to Elections Canada, with 105 of 253 polls reporting, Sweet has 10,133 votes, MacFarlane-VanderBeek has 5,646 votes Guyatt has 3,397 votes and Ormond has 2,162 votes. Ghaddar has 55 votes.
