Hamilton Conservation Authority is seeking public input and support to develop a free environmental workshop in March.
Local citizens’ groups are partnering with area Stewardship Councils and Conservation Authorities to develop a one-day workshop for community-based environmental group members.
The workshop is geared to sharing ideas and experiences so all can learn from one another and develop new and exciting community projects.
The goal is to link like-minded people so that they can work together to effectively preserve and improve the local natural environment.
The organizing committee for the March workshop is currently seeking input about topics of interest and accepting offers to present at the workshop.
Interested individuals are asked to phone or email Jaime Overy at 905-525-2181 ext. 165 or jovery@conservationhamilton.ca by Friday, November 28. Please indicate whether you are interested in attending the workshop or presenting at the event.
