Tiny Dancers
Every Saturday, little angels and their helpers fill the Rising Star Performing Arts ballet studio, eager to leap their way through another adapted dance lessons specifically developed for children with special needs.

School Sisters of Notre Dame Run for the Cure
Donning matching t-shirts, the School Sisters of Notre Dame took to the track in the Motherhouse’s Jubilee Garden and participated in the CIBC Run for the Cure on October 4. The SSND, many of whom have been directly affected by cancer, were active again this year in raising awareness and funds to battle breast cancer.

Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre
Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre is an equestrian facility that caters to individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. The different lessons, offered daily at the Puslinch facility, aim to develop the full potential of individual riders.

Rising Star Sound of Music 2009
Campers at Rising Star Performing Arts hit the stage August 21 to perform for their family members and friends. The group of talented students presented a 30-minute performance entitled "Sound of Music", including songs and scenes from the classic musical.
