A snow emergency has been declared for the City of Hamilton.
The Hamilton Police Service advises motorists that parking vehicles on designated snow routes is prohibited.
Motorists have a six-hour grace period to remove their vehicles from designated snow routes. The snow emergency was declared at 1:30 p.m.

According to a Hamilton Police Service release, police and bylaw officers will issue infraction notices on vehicles that have not been removed from snow routes. Vehicles may also be moved or towed.
