Waterdown District High School held its annual Remembrance Day ceremony this morning (Friday, Nov. 9) in the Parkside Drive facility’s new gym.
The event featured remarks by the school’s social justice club and performances by District and the WDHS choir.
In addition to the many students in attendance, students from the Air, Sea and Army Cadets were on hand, as were members of the Canadian Forces.
The 40-minute ceremony wrapped up with a moment of silence, followed by the school band’s rendition of O Canada.
