A camper reported that a locked garden shed at a Flamborough campground was broken into and a quantity of garden tools and equipment was stolen on May 23.
Two residents at a Flamborough trailer park became involved in a dispute on May19.
A Waterdown business owner became involved in a dispute with a customer on May 19. Police assisted in sorting out the matter.
A Valens landowner visited the Dundas Policing Centre on May 19 to report trespassers who had damaged their property.
Suspects forced the driver's side lock of a vehicle belonging to a patron of Flamboro Slots on May 20. A computer bag was stolen.
A 2005 GMC Jimmy was stolen from Flamboro Slots during the evening of May 20.
A Carlisle youth reported a suspicious man in the area to his parents on May 21. Police responded and learned that a male, described as 25 years of age, black with short curly hair, had exited his vehicle, which was parked at Oldenburg Road and Palomino Drive, and stood at the side. The male did not approach, or say anything to the youth.
Loss Prevention Services at a Flamborough Power Centre business called police to report a shoplifting on May 21. A lone male suspect stole a quantity of razors from the pharmacy department of the store, then fled to a waiting vehicle as staff gave chase. Staff obtained the license plate number of the getaway vehicle.
The neighbour of a Flamborough group home observed two youths from the facility going through the contents of a mailbox on May 22. Police responded and took the youths back to the group home.
Thieves stole a 1993 Chrysler parked at a Waterdown home overnight on May 22.
Suspects smashed the window of a vehicle parked at Flamborough Slots and stole a laptop computer and some clothes from inside on May 22.
Police responded to a rural address on May 23 to check that a person was abiding by their court ordered release. The person was found not to be home and a warrant was applied for.
A Flamborough resident had advertised a piece of merchandise for sale on a web site. A potential buyer contacted the owner and agreed to buy the item. The buyer then forwarded a cheque in excess of the amount asked for and asked requested that the owner provide him with the difference. The owner was not fooled by this scam and contacted police on May 23.
