We all want safer roads, and that's why Stoney Creek's Truck Training Academy supports the new mandatory entry-level training (MELT) requirement. With MELT, you can feel confident that you'll have the skills you need to take on whatever you may face while on the roads.

Truck Training Academy can get you on track to get either an AZ Class licence or a DZ Class licence. The driver training programs give you a mix of in-truck and in-class training that is required to become an entry-level driver. They’re great starting points for those without commercial driving experience and provide you with a full diploma at the end.

In as little as eight weeks or 200 hours, the AZ Truck and Trailer Driver Training program will give you many of the skills you need to drive a 10- or 13-speed transmission Mack or Freightliner tractor. Their DZ Driver Training program, on the other hand, provides you with what you need to know to drive straight trucks, dump trucks and fire trucks. Truck Training Academy's instructors will give you one-on-one training so that you can learn the essentials of driving the large vehicle of your choice.

To further your driving knowledge, you can also attend some of the seminars held by the Truck Training Academy. You can learn about regulations, load securement, transporting dangerous goods and more.

To find out more about truck driver training, contact the friendly and experienced staff at Truck Training Academy today. You can reach them by phone at 905-573-3635 or 905-573-0882, or toll-free at 1-866-573-3634, or by email at trucktrainingacademy@cogeco.net or tta@cogeco.net.
