Get swept into the joy of the season and keep that feeling going through to New Year’s.

It’s this time of year when the holiday events in the city really start to ramp up, such as the famous Toronto Christmas Market. Following the rich European tradition, this event features food, a beer gardens, entertainment, lights, decorations, and tons of holiday cheer! Located at the Distillery Historic District, this market ranks among the top 10 in the world! If a pricy trip to Europe isn’t in the budget, the Toronto Christmas Market will more than make up for it! You’ll feel like you’re in Germany! With parking hard to come by, the festival staff encourages visitors to make use of public transit. You can take the GO Train to Union Station then hop on the TTC on King Street, or flag down a taxi to take you to the market. The market runs until December 22, 2016. Please note it is closed on Mondays.
