Bootcamp supports athlete's quest for gold

Flamborough Review

Don’t miss the second Going for Gold Bootcamp on Jan. 26.

Led and organized by Waterdown resident Amy Moss-Archambault, the workout serves as an opportunity for community residents to break a sweat while helping to raise funds for her upcoming performance at the World Triathlon Championships in London, England.

Going for Gold will take place at St. James United Church, 306 Parkside Dr., where participants will take part in an hour-long knock-out workout starting at 10 a.m. Babysitting will be available on-site.

The cost to participate is $10. Pre-registration is required.

A sample bar, featuring Macca and Preferred Nutrition’s protein powder, will be available for individuals to try.

A raffle will also provide those in attendance an opportunity to win some great prizes, including a chef’s table for two at Cascata Bistro in Carlisle and a gift from Rabethge’s Jewellery Ltd.
