HUSTLE UP: The WDHS boys' rugby team improve their game on the pitch.
The 26-0 victory was truly a team effort - including a mad scramble to actually get to Glendale High School (thanks to Brad and Wes for their quick thinking).
Trys were scored by Dan Gough, Evan Cook, and BOA winner Chad Strapp. Ref Mike Pletch (member of the 2007 Canada World Cup team) commented on the boys' vast improvement over their last match.
A celebratory BBQ was held afterward at Eddie's house.
Tuesday, May 13th's game against Orchard Park did not fair as well.
WDHS was met with a 0-21 loss despite excellent play by players Gary Sproule, Robert McLaren and the Gough Brothers.
Dan Gough was awarded the BOA for the game.
The boys were slated to face off against Westdale on Thursday, May 15.
