Windy and hot conditions prevailed at the recent Golden Horseshoe Tour Event No. 3 at King's Forest Golf Club in Hamilton, resulting in tough scoring for the majority of the field.
Reggie Millage of Clublink Academy fired a three-under par 69 to take top spot. David Banks of Within Range shot a solid round of two-under par 70 to take second, and Jim Kenesky of Waterdown ended the day tied for sixth with Wyldewood's Dave Moro, with a three-over par round of 75.
Top finishers of the event also included a tie for third place between Granite Ridge's Jeff Davis and Heron Point's Dan Greenwood (73) and a fifth-place finish for Ron Kenesky of Hidden Lake. Conor O'Shea, Alf Callowhill and Mark Napier rounded out the top ten.
The GHT's fourth event of the season was slated for July 17 at Heron Point Golf Links.
