Local MAC athletes excel

Mountain Athletic Club (MAC) Volleyball has athletes and coaches who have been recognized for excellence through invitations and participation in the various levels of the Ontario Volleyball Association Summer Athlete Development Program.

Maddie Sibiga of Waterdown of the MAC 16U girls' team was named to the Regional teams that will be competing at the Ontario Summer Games in Ottawa.

Also of Waterdown, Darren Edwards, a player on the MAC 18U team, was named to the Men's Provincial Team. He will be competing at the National Team Challenge Cup July 24-27 in Halifax.
