The team, which is sponsored by Winners and Xtreme Customs Paint & Autobody, faced off against the Erin Mills Eagles Saturday morning.

Fresh off a 6-0 victory over Dundas in H.D.M.J.C.L. play the night before, the Flames battled hard. A goal by Patrick Goulet, stellar goaltending by Ben Lord and great overall team play resulted in a 1-1 draw.

In the second match of the day, the White Flames defeated the Valley East Neil's Cobras 1-0 on a goal by Noah Morris (assisted by Liam Donnelly). The Flames' defence was led by the outstanding play of Jacob Sucic and Brady Fidler.

The squad moved on to face the Orangeville Storm in their third and final match of the day.

This was a close game that featured another strong performance by Ryan Kostur, and goals by Jordan Link and Fidler in the first half. Orangeville added a goal on a penalty kick, also in the first half, to keep things tight.

The second half opened with numerous chances by both teams, but both goaltenders were up to the task. The game ended in a 2-1 victory for the White Flames.

Flamborough faced the hometown Mustangs in their Sunday morning match. The boys dominated the first half with numerous scoring chances, but only had a single goal from Zachary Moore (assisted by Seth Ebos) to show for their efforts.

Flamborough continued their efforts in the second half, with an insurance goal by Aaron Inwood (assisted by Goulet), resulting in a 2-0 shutout.

The victory over Georgetown put the White Flames at the top of their group, with 11 points - just ahead of the Erin Mills Eagles, with 10.

The final pitted the White Flames against Brampton Eastenders A. Flamborough started of with an early goal by Cody Parent (assisted by Inwood). This served as a wakeup call to Brampton, which gradually started to carry the play as Flamborough began to tire.

Inwood potted the final goal of the game on a great run, after taking a pass from Link. The final score was 7-2.

From the great goaltending of Lord, steady defensive play by the likes of Ebos, Sucic and Link, to the gritty play of Inwood and the great ball striking by Kostur and Donnelly, all the boys played great in just their second tournament.
