
The Toronto Star Golf & Travel Show and Callaway Golf will
welcome golf icon David Leadbetter on Friday, March 5 at the Metro
Toronto Convention Centre, North Building.
The world’s number
one golf instructor and coach to countless PGA Tour, European PGA Tour,
LPGA Tour and Champions Tour players, David is known throughout the
world for his innovative and creative teaching techniques and has been
associated with Callaway Golf as its staff teaching pro since 1997.
Over
the past 30 years, his players have amassed over a dozen major
championship titles and over 100 individual worldwide tournament
victories.
His appearance at this weekend’s show will be a great
opportunity to speak and learn more about his successful career as an
instructor and coach along with information about his worldwide Golf
Academies.
This year’s 21st Annual Golf Show provides
consumers with a sneak preview into the upcoming season from all areas
of the golf and travel industries, including the latest in golf
equipment, accessories and apparel, as well as information, deals and
savings from golf courses, golf destinations and travel retailers.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s North Building.
The
show is open from 12 (noon) to 8 p.m. March 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 6 and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is
$15 at the door or $14 online. Seniors ages 65 and over can purchase
tickets at the door or online for $11. Children under 12 get in for
free. Guests can visit the show anytime after 2 p.m. on Sunday for a
reduced twilight rate of $7.
