About 75 per cent of the student population at Beverly Central Public School in west Flamborough recently received official Road2Hope medals for their participation in a marathon challenge held in their schoolyard during the months of September and October.

Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 ran laps around the school’s play field during recesses for 21 days to complete the marathon.

They were rewarded with medals and the knowledge that their efforts will help fund projects in Haiti and the City Kidz charity in Hamilton.

The medals were provided by Runners Den in Hamilton.
