The Carlisle Tennis Club is gearing up for the 2012 outdoor season. Registration for the club will be this Wednesday evening (April 18) an Saturday morning (April 21) at the Carlisle Arena.

Courting success in Carlisle

The Carlisle Tennis Club has been keeping an eye on the sky and is hoping this great weather will keep up as the season approaches.

Located in the Palomino subdivision in Carlisle, the Carlisle Tennis Club welcomes all Flamborough residents to join the Club. The CTC offers many types of clinics and leagues for both men and women.

Tennis is a sport that requires minimal gear to get started and can be learned at any age.  It is a great cardiovascular workout and improves flexibility, balance and hand-eye coordination.

Back again for the 2012 season are tennis pros Judith Pridham-Millar and Brian Millar.  Judith and Brian have a combined 55 years of coaching experience in Southern Ontario.

The Carlisle Tennis Club is offering junior lessons for children aged 6-16. The CTC offers after-school and weekend clinics starting May 3, plus week-long, half-day summer camps in July and August. All clinics are taught by tennis pro Judith Pridham-Millar.

Registration for all programs takes place at the Carlisle Arena on Wednesday April 18 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday April 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. The club offers family, single, couple, junior and senior memberships.

For more information, check out the CTC’s website, which also offers online registration, at www.carlisletennisclub.com.
