Remembrance Day services

Flamborough residents can pay tribute to the brave men and women, who put their lives on the line for our freedoms, this weekend.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s Waterdown and Lynden branches are holding Remembrance Day ceremonies on Sunday, November 11. Both are slated to begin at 10:45 a.m. and will take place outdoors at the cenotaph, weather permitting.

Following the services, attendees, including local veterans, community residents and dignitaries, are invited to enjoy a complimentary luncheon.

The Waterdown facility is located at 79 Hamilton St. North, while the Lynden branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is located at 206 Lynden Rd.
