As January turns to February, it can only mean one thing in Flamborough: it’s time to reserve your seats for the annual Rockton Dinner Theatre.
This year’s show is “Class Act,” and features many familiar faces as well as a few new fearless performers who bring to life the characters of Stoneborough as they return home for their high school reunion.
“The cast has already had its first meeting,” said dinner theatre chair Heather Dillon, noting that this year’s performance will include lots of music and plenty of laughs. “We’re really excited about bringing everybody together.”
Accompanying the show is Rockton’s famous traditional roast beef dinner. And of course pies for dessert, handmade by volunteer bakers.
“I’ve told my mom to warm up her wrists to roll out the dough,” joked Dillon.
Tickets for the show, which runs the last two weekends in March (Mar. 22-24 and Mar. 29-31) cost $32.50 each, and they go on sale bright and early Saturday, February 4 at the Rockton Fairgrounds. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and volunteers will be on hand to sell tickets from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
After February 4, tickets will be available at the Rockton Fair office, which is open Tuesday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those who wish to purchase tickets can also call 519-647-2502.
