The Flamborough Family YMCA is celebrating Family Day on Monday, February 20 with an open house for the entire community.

The Parkside Drive facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with many special activities for families from 9 a.m. until noon. There will be no charge to use the facility throughout the day.

The climbing wall will be open to families from 9 a.m. until noon and the YMCA is also offering a lane swim from 8 to 10 a.m. and open swim from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The leisure pool will be open all day.

Family fitness

A family fitness class is scheduled from 9:15 to 10 a.m. and is suitable for families with children 13 years of age and older.

The Flamborough Family YMCA is located at 207 Parkside Dr., Waterdown. All Health, Fitness and Recreation Centres making up the YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford are open and free of charge on Family Day and many fun family activities are planned.
