Local families are invited to lace up their skates and hit the ice at the Carlisle Arena on Friday, January 6 from 1-3 p.m.

This free event is presented by Friends of Rural Communities and the Environment (FORCE), thanks to support from councillors Margaret McCarthy and Dave Braden.

The two-hour skate is free but in the spirit of the season, FORCE will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Flamborough Food Bank during the event.
