Avid duffers don't have to wait for summer to go fore it. Canada's biggest consumer golf event, the 17th annual Golf and Travel Show swings into the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (255 Front St. W.), March 10-12.

From brushing up on skill with a PGA lesson and getting in some time on the giant driving range, to taking in a daily fashion show of the latest golf trends and entering to win a round of golf at one of 100 Ontario golf courses, there's something for everyone. In the Kids Zone, the next generation of golfers can participate in a golf lesson and free clubs.

Show times are Friday, noon-8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults or $8 for children ages 8-15. Kids under eight enter free when accompanied by an adult.
