March Break fun at Waterdown Library

News Nov 22, 2006 Flamborough Review

Kids are gearing up for March Break - and the Waterdown branch of the Hamilton Public Library is ready.

The fun kicks off with Pictionary Pandemonium, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. The event is appropriate for kids ages 6 and up, and registrations will be accepted starting March 6.

The creative crowd will enjoy Activity Corner on Thursday, March 16, with colouring materials and activity pages for artists of all ages provided from 1-4 p.m.

From March 13-17, the branch is also holding contests to stir the imagination. Kids can take a stab at guessing the number of candies in the jar; the one who is closest wins them all.

For the budding artists, the Super Heroes Colouring Contest will be running, for kids ages 4-10. Colouring pages will be available at the front desk during the March Break, and must be returned by March 20.

For more information on March Break programs, or other library services, visit the Waterdown Public Library on Mill Street, just north of Dundas Street.
