RBG summer camps

News Nov 22, 2006 Flamborough Review

Summer will soon be here, and it's time to register for outdoor fun at Royal Botanical Gardens. Now in their 23rd year, RBG day camps involve children from ages four to 13 in canoeing, hiking, geocaching, crafts, campouts and more.

Camp themes vary each week, so even repeat campers will find something new and challenging. While nature and science camps form the core of the program, RBG also offers outdoor games and sports and more. Teens can develop new skills as part of an outdoor leadership training program.

RBG Discovery Camps are planned and supervised under the direction of qualified teachers and offer a safe and caring environment. Extended daycare is available for a small fee. Camp brochures are available at your local library, RBG or online at rbg.ca.

Spaces are limited so early registration is encouraged. Online registrations are being accepted at www.rbg.ca .
