March break at RBG

News Feb 22, 2007 Flamborough Review

With March Break just around the corner, the search for a good camp is becoming more pressing for local parents.

The Royal Botanical Gardens will offer four different day camps for children ages four to 12. The camps will be offered from March 12 to March 16 and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

RBG camps are geared towards children who love exploring the great outdoors and making crafts, or who want to know more about such things as making maple syrup, where bugs hang out in the winter, outdoor survival and how dinosaurs lived. The focus is on fun while developing connections to the natural world through hands-on experience.

The camp registration fee is $35 per day for RBG members and $39 for non-RBG members. Be sure to pre-register -by day or by week- before March 1; after that a late registration fee is added.

For more information, including a brochure and secure online registration, see the Royal Botanical Gardens' website at www.rbg.ca. Brochures are also available at the RBG and local libraries, or feel free to call at 905-527-1158 ext. 276.
