Beverly netminder keeps Bandits ahead of the pack

Beverly Bantams goaltender Kelsan Gehlert continued his amazing play, as he recorded his third consecutive shutout of the season.

The Bandits beat Twin Centre, 2-0, in Grand Valley League play, with Dillon Campbell and Steven Morgenweg netting the Beverly goals.

Gehlert continued his sparkling play as he notched yet another shutout in a hard-fought 0 to 0 tie with Tavistock.

Steve Barncarz took over the goaltending duties for Beverly and was between the pipes as they took on Plattsville; the two teams battled to a 1-1 draw. Steven Laurence scored the lone Bandits goal.

In the return match against Plattsville, Beverly rolled to a 7-1 victory. Laurence, Joel Blanken and Brett Ofield scored two apiece, while Campbell added a single marker.

Beverly's season record now sits at 5-1-2.
