Faith, hope and peace

Thousands of soldiers marched off to war

They fought, they died, but there is more

They gave us faith, and hope and peace

So now we believe all wars will cease.

The battlefield lies open with gore

With memories, sadness and anger galore

But still they give faith, hope and peace

For this is how all wars will cease.
