Double the fun at VT auditions

News Nov 22, 2006 Flamborough Review

Village Theatre will be offering double the fun with its winter production, and the troupe wants to hear from interested actors for its auditions this month.

Suburban Motel will feature two one-act plays by George F. Walker, Adult Entertainment (to be directed by Roz Woodcock) and Problem Child (to be directed by Peter Feldman). Described as "fast-paced edgy physical comedy pushed beyond the realistic boundaries into the theatre of the absurd," Walker's style explores mature themes.

Auditions for Suburban Motel will be held Sunday, November 13 at 2 p.m. and on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall on Dundas Street East in Waterdown.

For more information, including outlines of the characters needed, call 905-690-7889 or visit online at www.villagetheatrewaterdown.ca.
