Need for litter pick-ups disheartens local resident

News May 03, 2007 Flamborough Review

It is heartening to hear of the organized area litter cleanups and have folks around like Roger Wilson who spend time cleaning up other folks' refuse.

I pick up litter everywhere but concentrate on Main St. South and Snake Road.

A shame

However, it is a shame and a sad reflection on our society that the aforegoing is necessary.

Another eyesore is the posting of ads on our neat area mailboxes; there are currently eight on our box.

I humbly suggest to the culprits that the mailboxes are not a bulletin board.
