Atom AEs storm to victory

The Flamborough Sabres Minor Atom AE team stormed to victory on Saturday November 12 against the Acton Tanners. The Flamborough boys drove home a well-deserved 6-3 win despite being three players short. The action started quickly with an early goal by Ryan Kapuscinski. Line-mate Jordan DeMedeiros, assisted by Kapuscinski and Sebastian Canhas, quickly added another goal to the score-board.

In the second period Kapuscinski put two more between the pipes to make it a hat trick. Blake McGuire later drove in another two goals with assists by Robbie McCarthy and Anthony DeCarlo, bringing the team to a 6-3 victory.

Dallas Brizland started in net for the Sabres, while Jared Philpott finished the win.

Strong on defense were Dylan Budnick, TJ Butler, Joseph Gallant, Tyler Hale, Michael Rapson and Nicholas St. Pierre.

With Coach Roy Canhas at the helm, the 8-and 9-year old Sabres out-shot, out-skated and out-played their visitors from Acton.
