In addition to a number of medical-related responses, Hamilton firefighters responded to several calls in Flamborough over the past week. Information is compiled by Hamilton Emergency Services Fire Safety Officer John Verbeek.

Firefighters from Dundas, Waterdown, Greensville and Rockton responded shortly after 9 p.m. July 1 to a reported structure fire on Moxley Road. It turned out to be a shed burning. The blaze extended to the grass and some trees.

Waterdown firefighters responded July 3 at 2:45 p.m. to a first aid call due to a motor vehicle accident on Hwy. 6.

Waterdown firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide problem in a home on Grindstone Way July 6 shortly after 6:30 p.m.

Firefighters from Greensville responded to an open air burning complaint on Hwy. 8 at 10:15 p.m. July 7.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. July 7, Greensville firefighters responded to a first aid call at a motor vehicle accident at Flamborough Speedway on Concession 5 West.
