The United Way of Burlington & Greater Hamilton is gearing up for the First Annual Ride the United Way Poker Run.

On September 15, hundreds of riders will hit the road for a tour of Hamilton and Burlington's most scenic areas. Starting at the Stoney Creek Dairy Bar, the 150 km route will wind its way through Binbrook, Caledonia and Dundas Valley. Riders will receive poker cards at three stops. At the end of the ride, the best and worst poker hands will be rewarded and a host of great door prizes will also be up for grabs. In addition, the first 500 participants will receive a gift kit.

The cost to register is $25 for drivers (waived with $100 or more in pledges) and $10 for passengers (waived with pledges totaling at least $50). For more information or to register, or to sponsor the event, call 905-527-4576 ext. 402.
