The Waterdown Wolves Select team played in the 38th annual Ancaster World T-Ball tournament during the Civic Holiday weekend.

After the first three games against some of the top teams in the province, the Wolves managed a 2-1 record in the first round of play. They were placed in the AA division and played some excellent baseball against teams that were much more experienced in the T-Ball format.

On Monday, they faced the Stoney Creek Jays for the AA consolation final. The game was a see-saw battle but in the end, Stoney Creek managed a narrow win.

All the boys had a great time, and enjoyed the weekend of baseball. For many of them, this was the first taste of what it is like to play in a tournament.

The team played a total of seven games over four days.

This year's team roster includes: Ryan Kitchen, Travis Kitchen, Hunter Treneer, Jackson Treneer, David Bristol, Lucas Parsons, Curtis Powell, Zach Doxey, Jacob Cooper, Mason Brewer, Mitchell Brewer, Rachel Johnson, Patrick Hiscock, and Coaches Randy Powell, Scott Parsons, Mark Brewer and Mark Cooper.
