Firth-Eagland and McKay acclaimed to top HCA spots

Chris Firth-Eagland was acclaimed Chairman of the Hamilton Conservation Authority board for a fifth term during its March 6 annual meeting.

The Dundas Valley resident became Chairman in early 2004 after having been appointed to HCA's Board of Directors by Hamilton City Council in 2001. He has been associated with the Authority for more than a decade in volunteer and advisory capacities.

Don McKay, Puslinch Township representative to the board, was also acclaimed Vice-Chairman for his fifth term. The Vice-Chairman automatically assumes the chair of HCA's Budget and Administration committee. Other members elected to the committee were Sergio Manchia, Lloyd Ferguson and Jim Howlett.

Also acclaimed to their previously-held positions were Jim Howlett, as Chairman of the Conservation Areas advisory board, and Susan Toth, as Chairman of the Water Management advisory board.
