Beverly squads pick up wins

The Beverly Bandits (#1) picked up a pair of wins recently, outskating Paris and Plattsville.

Jules Vegh did an outstanding job in net, registering the shutout against Paris.

Scoring for the Bandits were Nelson Coles (two goals), Lucas Stafford (two goals), Jordann Jones, Josh Lessaline and Josh Vegh. The defensive squad of owen Whelan, Jody Boyd and Tanner Jariepy helped maintain Beverly's unbeaten record. Final score: Beverly 7, Paris, 0.

After dropping a game to Twin Centres on Saturday, the Bandits #2 squad came back to beat Plattsville on Sunday by a score of 6-1. A pair of goals by Lucas Lochner and a very fist goal by Jack Baxter (who took home the game puck for his efforts) secured the game.

Amazing goaltending by Paige Corbett and a strong defence helped boost the team.
