Do your kids love outdoor adventure? The Royal Botanical Gardens' Discovery Day Camps aim to have them learning, doing, laughing and discovering as they participate in outdoor games, indoor crafts and other exciting activities.

Available for school children between the age of four and 13, these camps vary from "Birds of a Feather" for kindergarteners, to "Nature CSI" and "Mission:Survival" for Grade 5-8 students.

Winter Discovery Day Camp takes place at the Nature Interpretive Centre on Old Guelph Road beginning on December 28, and runs weekdays until January 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Extended care is available between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. for $3/day. The camp fee for RBG family members is $35 per day ($39 for non-members). Maximum 30 campers per each of four age groups (20 for kindergarten camps) with a staff:camper ratio of 1:7.

This year, the extended school holiday after New Years provides a great opportunity for your children to get outdoors. Spaces are limited and pre-registration is essential.
