Of note is your comment, "We would like to take this statement further and suggest that it can affect anyone at any age in any profession at any time."

Exactly right. This is true for any form of bullying.

Accordingly, all forms of bullying should be in the Criminal Code as categories of assault. Deaths caused by bullying should be treated as first-degree murder.

Bullying is a relic of our primitive, prehistoric, barbaric, uncivilized past. It then follows that we cannot call ourselves civilized as long as this conduct is tolerated.
