Tribute show next month

The sounds of Neil Diamond will be heard in Flamborough next month, when the Waterdown Lions present Joey Purpura and his tribute show at the Millgrove Community Centre on Saturday, October 25. The event will raise funds for Lions youth projects and service projects.

Guests will be treated to Neil Diamond’s memorable songs, including Cracklin’ Rosie, I’m a Believer, Sweet Caroline and many other hits. Included in the price is a three-meat smorgasbord meal.

Tickets are $45 per person or $340 for a table of eight –a savings of $5 per couple.

Millgrove Community Centre is located in Millgrove Park on Millgrove Sideroad south of 5th Concession West.

The doors open at 6 p. m. and dinner will be served between 6:30 and 7.30 p. m. The show will begin around 8:30 p. m.
