Dear Editor,

On Wednesday, November 26, The Committee to Free Flamborough attended the Hamilton city council meeting. Councillor Terry Whitehead was to submit a proposition to restore some of the Flamboro Slots money to the Flamborough coffers, as per Kevin Werner's front page article in this week's (November 28) Flamborough Review.

After sitting through two and a half hours of gruelling pandering about whether to raise transit rates or to continue putting fluoride in the city water system, we were shocked to hear the councillor pull the proposition at the eleventh hour.

Kevin Werner's article clearly shows why we are entitled to this money and one must ask themselves, what plan did the councillor have in mind?

Was he just looking for publicity?

Well, he got our attention for sure! We urge everyone to email councillor Whitehead at twhitehead@hamilton.ca and express their discontent.
